This blog is a love letter to an industry that I adore. As an aspiring engineer, I am constantly inspired by those who innovate: Joe Rohde of Walt Disney Imagineering, Rocky Mountain Construction, and, most of all, Intamin Worldwide. Millions of US citizens ride roller coasters per year, but few know the stories behind them or the people who build them. I want to learn more about how rides break records, present thrills, and are created from idea to finished product. Intamin is a company that constantly holds world records for the speed, height, air time, g forces, and inversions of their rides, so I feel there is no better example of those who wish to push the limits.
